The Postgraduate Program in Applied Chemistry (PPGQA) from the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG) engages in chemistry areas such as: Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. The PPGQA currently holds grade 4 on the CAPES (Superior Education Personnel Enhancement Coordination) evaluation system, indicating its efficiency in resource formation and project development. The course’s planning is based on high quality research to establish professionals capable of problem-solving related to energy production, sustainability, natural environment, photocatalysis, detection and behavior of environmental contaminants, reactions and molecular properties simulations, healthcare applied chemical sensors, proteins, among others.

The contribution for Basic Education is focused in the Popularization of Science by means of activities related to the production of tools, teacher’s specializations and so forth. Moreover, the program offers scholarships granted by CAPES for students with expertise and exclusive dedication to the project.

The main advantages on participating of PPGQA-UEPG are the professional experiences, sharing of ideas, participation in events, article development, text writing, internationalization, ethics and practice in English language.
